Thanks to Nicole Delozier and Michelle Culley for managing the site.
LET’S BE GOOD NEIGHBORS!
Yard Maintenance. Spring is here! Everyone is spending more time out of doors, so please
keep your out-of-doors looking tip-top. Now is a good time to weed and feed your lawn, apply new bark mulch, and generally get your yard spruced up. Sidewalk and curb areas need love too, so don’t forget them. Please keep these areas free from weeds and debris and power wash them to keep moss and muck at bay.
Four-Leaf Clover?! Clover and dandelions love our NW climate! What could be more fun than blowing dandelion seeds and hunting for four-leaf clovers? Great fun for the kids, but not for their folks. Please treat your lawns for these invasive weeds to keep your yard (and your neighbor’s yard) from their not-so-fun consequences.
Have Crane Fly??? Each year our lawns are susceptible to Crane Fly infestation. Crane Flies look like very large mosquitoes. If you notice your grass (or your neighbor's) is patchy in spots - the underground larvae from the Crane Fly (called leatherjackets) are probably the cause. Please treat your lawns - the problem will spread through the neighborhood if not remedied. They eat heartily through June so they need to be eliminated NOW! Fred Meyer or Wilco will have the supplies that you need.
A Friendly Reminder for All Our Pet Lovers! We have received recent complaints that some owners are not picking up after their animals. Please remember to bring and use a baggie on your walks and don’t allow your dogs to roam in others’ yards. Thank you!
Boat/ Trailer/ Utility Trailer/ RV Parking. According to our governing documents, these vehicles may not be left unattended or stored in the neighborhood (except behind an approved fence on an approved parking pad) for more than 48 hours. Please note that this is different than the City of Canby’s code, which doesn’t permit any vehicle or personal property, without the permission of the City Police Department, to remain on the street for a period in excess of 24 hours (10.04.100).
ARC Reminder. If you’re installing a fence, retaining wall or shed, putting in trees, a fountain, rockery, repainting your home a new color, or making major changes to your home or landscaping (regardless if it’s the front or rear yard), you must submit a plan to the HOA for review and approval. Owners should wait to begin implementing the changes until written approval has been received from the HOA.
MISCELLANEOUS BITS...
Summer Kick-off Neighborhood Party. We’re looking for some owners interested in helping Jeff Hart to organize a party to kick off the summer for our neighborhood. If you are interested, please
contact the Board.
Late Fees. The Board would like to remind you to pay your assessment on time to avoid any late fees accruing. The next assessment is due on July 1. Assessments are due the first day of January and July every year, and are late if not received in the management office by the tenth of the month due.
