Holiday Lights...
It's time for those holiday lights to be stored until next November. Per our CC&R's Resolution #4 General Community & Pool Rules, item #4 holiday lights can be displayed beginning the first week of November to January 10 of the following year.
Happy Holidays to our friends and neigbhors in Tofte Farms. We hope you've had an opportunity to see the wonderful holiday light displays throughout the neighborhood.
Thank You! to Heather & Darin for hosting the annual neighborhood holiday gathering and lights contest again this year. Congratulations to Heather & Don on SE 14th Place for having the best holiday lights display this year.

Annual & Board Meeting...
The annual and board meetings are this Thursday, November 11 at the Canby Adult Center. Check-in begins at 6:45 pm with the meeting beginning at 7:00 pm. We hope you will join us. Please be sure to return your proxies to 1374 SE Maple before Thursday's meeting if you are not planning to attend.
Halloween Fun in Tofte...
Take a look at the fun our neighbors had dressing up their homes for the holiday in the Photo Gallery. Not to mention the great fall colors of our neighborhood. We have some creative people in Tofte Farms!
Lawn Care...
Now is the time to treat your lawns, front and back, with a granular grub treatment for the crane fly (leather back) larvae. This will help prevent the crane fly from developing in the Spring. Any granular grub treatment will work.

Garage Sale Signage
With the extensive landscape work that has been done along 13th Avenue, we can no longer allow signs advertising for garage sales to be stuck into the ground because of the new drip irrigation system. When signs have been placed in the ground, it has caused damage to the system. We encourage homeowners to use sandwich boards for advertising or other signs that do not have to be placed in the ground. Please do not hammer nails into the trees along 13th avenue to post garage sale signs. This causes damage to already struggling trees. Home owners will be held responsible for repairs if a sign is placed in the ground causing damage to the system. Please remove signs promptly when your sale is over. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Tofte Residents are invited to attend a Neighborhood Meeting June 30th
The city has asked the Neighborhood Associations to invite residents to attend this information sharing meeting. Presenters: Greg Ellis, City Administrator, Rich Ares, Canby Urban Renewal Agency Chair
New investments in Canby through Urban Renewal
Highlights include an overview of Canby’s successful urban renewal program; how it works, past investments and successes, and future areas of focus. Learn more about high profile projects underway and being planned to help Canby thrive. Highlights include major reconstruction and improvements to 1st Avenue, the construction of a new police station, planning for a new library among others.
This meeting will be on Thursday evening, June 30, 7:00 PM at the Hope Village community room.

Tofte Farms Neighborhood Garage Sale
June 24 & 25 will be the Tofte Farms neighborhood garage sale weekend. If you've been planning to do a sale this summer, this will be the weekend to do it. Advertising is being done and signage into Tofte Farms will be in place. We hope you'll take advantage of this event.
Spring Cleaning
It's that time of year again for owners to get out and start sprucing up their yards for the coming summer months. This would include removing weeds in flower beds, streets, driveways; painting, if needed (be sure to fill out an ARC application if changing colors); getting rid of moss in your yard and on your roofs; and trimming back hedges that are overgrown. Remember you are responsible for the street and sidewalk in front of your home.

Tofte Farms Owners Board Meeting Date Change...
The next Tofte Farms Owners Board meeting has been changed to April 28th, 2011 at 7:00 pm instead of the originally scheduled date of May 12, 2011.
Watch Your Speed...
Some of you may have noticed the speed police cart within the neighborhood lately. We have had many neighbors complain about cars going too fast within Tofte Farms. Please remember this is a neighborhood full of kids playing in the streets, walkers, and bikers. Please slow down and be aware of your surroundings so that no one gets hurt.
